Dow India to Showcase Latest Technology At PaintIndia 2016

Technology designed to support innovation in the international paint, coatings and construction industries will be showcased by Dow businesses at PaintIndia in Mumbai, 21-23 January 2016.
Four Dow businesses are teaming up on stand B1-C1 in Hall 1 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre under a joint theme of “Partnering for Sustainable Growth”, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the latest technical solutions and discuss future business ambitions.
Dow Coating Materials, one of the world’s leading suppliers of architectural binders, additives and industrial resins to the paints and coatings industry, will be showcasing its new Acrylic Epoxy Hybrid (AEH) Technology for commercial and institutional wall applications, MAINCOTE™ AEH.Innovations from the ACRYSOL™ additives range will also be profiled, along with the latest developments in PRIMAL™ water-borne acrylic resins for high gloss enamel paints.
Dow Coating Materials will also present its formaldehyde abatement FORMASHIELD™ Technology designed to improve indoor air quality, as well FASTRACK™ binders for long-lasting, high visibility road-marking paints.
The business will back up its presence at the exhibition with papers presented at the accompanying Congress on 21-22 January 2016, highlighting the latest technical developments in Additives and Acrylic Epoxy Hybrids.
Dow Construction Chemicals – which offers innovative products based on cellulose ethers, re-dispersible latex powders and acrylic emulsions to offer better building - will be highlighting binders for two-component cementitious waterproofing as well as one-component waterproofing forvertical walls. Also on show will be the waterborne ECOGROUND™ solution for running track and floor protection applications, along with the latest low VOC* binders for cool, metal and flat roof applications.
Dow Microbial Control, the leading provider of biocide and antimicrobial technologies to help control and prevent growth of nuisance and dangerous micro-organisms, will use PaintIndia 2016 to present its new MBIT (N-Methyl-1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one), the only new active ingredient discovered this century for in-can preservation, in an innovative, synergistic, VOC free water based formulation. Also on show will be dry film biocides, innovative, high efficacy, long lasting and cost effective solutions against film-defacing microorganisms which help paints to retain a fresh look for years.
Dow Performance Monomers will be taking the opportunity to demonstrate the value of back integration available by working with Dow: the business offers a full range of monomers for a wide range of applications, including dispersions and emulsions for adhesives, coatings, inks, woven and non-woven textiles, plastics and polymers and superabsorbent products.
