Mumbai, 11 August 2025: Dow Chemical International Pvt. Ltd. (Dow India) wins the FICCI 21st Corporate Social Responsibility Award under Environment Sustainability category. This award is bestowed for the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program ‘My Sustainability Corner’ - a behavioural change endeavour in treating the plastic waste.
The quest for this award is a 3-tier assessment that begins with a comprehensive application invited from companies engaged in CSR initiatives from all sectors across India. Through a detailed vetting process, the shortlisted applications move to an on-ground assessment. Impactful projects further undergo a jury round to assess the holistic impact of the project. This rigorous evaluation process ensures that only the most transformative and sustainable initiatives—those that create measurable, lasting change in communities—are recognized, setting a benchmark for excellence in CSR across India.

This award is constituted by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) who is a non-government, not-for-profit organization, and the voice of India's business and industry. The FICCI Corporate Social Responsibility Awards – India’s first CSR award was instituted in 1999 by FICCI. The aim of the award is to identify and recognize the efforts of companies in integrating and internalizing CSR.
